Starting with the last thing first, here's some ground I'd like to cover really quick before we get into the announcement of some new releases.
First off, the releases presented here a few paragraphs below will more than likely be the last releases I'm going to be doing for at least the next two months. I'll be taking a couple months off from releasing anything new after this batch, largely so I can focus on the clearing-out of my over-stock, recording new material, and "life stuff". Of course, the label will still be 100% active...I just will not be releasing anything new for a while. Having said that, I'm still up for split offers and whatever else, but they will not be released until sometime this late summer (more specifically, July), if you're planning / hoping to have it released thru me. As I've said, I still will be actively recording new stuff, so if there are any labels that might be reading this (particularly if I've done business with you before) and you'd like to release anything of mine on your end, then please get in touch. I would love to work with you.
Secondly, there's been some recent developments in narrowing down which projects I will for sure be quitting and which ones I will be keeping for a long time yet. So, while it's still fresh on my mind, here's the lists if anyone's interested / paying attention:
....and there you have it. Again, as I might've said already before, some will take longer than others to end so nothing's going to go RIP immediately. I will go out on a limb (a rotten, amputated, maggot-filled one in this case), however, and say that there'll be a good number of "final releases" that'll crop up, for sure, when I get back into the game of releasing new releases come July / late summer. Stay tuned.
Thirdly, the Infester full length that (I'm assuming) everybody's been waiting on. Well, it's been pushed back until next year and I have taken it down from the "Out Next" section of this blog. YES, the full length is STILL totally going to happen; it just won't happen until first thing next year. Right now and through the rest of this year, I'd really like to just mainly focus on splits and the occassional EP or two with the project, if anything. Again, nothing's changed with that full length except for the fact that it'll now be a 2019 release rather than a 2018 one.
Fourthly, I've brought the $1.00 Bin back. Why I decided to do away with it to begin with? Who knows. But it is back and there's a fuckload of releases up for grabs there if anyone's interested. It's comprised largely of older stuff and non-label releases that I really need to clear out of my home to make room for the newer shit. So, feel free to look through there and see if you can grab yourself a few treasures if you can find them. You never know, right?
Lastly (and FINALLY), April's releases / the last releases for a good couple of months. Here they are, without further ado or anymore incessant babbling from me on my end...enjoy!
GANGRENE DISCHARGE "The Final Fetid Fumes Of Foul Fetuous Fervor" EP
On a little bit of a "personal" note here, I will be ending a few projects in the couple months or so. I've already more or less made it clear that this year would see a lot of projects getting the axe, and it's only now the gears have started to turn to make that happen.
Projects such as Gangrene Discharge, Perforated Bowel Syndrome With Oozing Faeces, Clumps Of Flesh, the newly revived Infester, and Defective Limb Digestor are more than safe and aren't going anywhere anytime soon (except maybe into the studio to record new material...HA!), as I'm for sure keeping those, but here are the projects that are currently on the chopping block at the moment:
...and that's it. So, if you've ever wanted to split with any of these projects, now's the time to go ahead and do so, because in a couple months or whatnot, these projects will no longer exist. Some will take longer to end then others, for sure, but I do know the ones that are in my immediate cross-hairs and the ones that'll hang in there for a little while longer yet. It's not many, but still...just saying.
One project I failed to list/mention was Ovaries Collector, and that's all because I'm not 100% sure what exactly I want to do with it ultimately. I guess it's safe to say the project's on life-support at the moment, but I do have unused material for this project already recorded and ready to go, and I'm going to be working on a couple more sessions before it's over with, as well. After that, it may just go into hiatus before bringing it back, because, all in all, I'd really like to keep it going for as long as I'm able to. However, in all honesty, I don't see it lasting forever. It's going to come to an end eventually, I'm just trying like hell not to have that happen anytime real soon, you know?
A couple more projects I didn't bring up were Soggy Decomposition, Bondage Torture, and Acute Tracheal Stenosis, and for good reason. Soggy Decomp. is going thru a revamp right now, so I'm (obviously) serious about continuing this on as a "serious" project, even though I honestly don't know for how long...we'll see. Having said that, though, I seriously don't see it ending anytime real soon, so chances are that it's going to be a good couple of years before I quit it. I'm still figuring what the hell I want to do ultimately with Bondage Torture, but there's a lot of stuff I'd still like to try and do with the project first before it becomes R.I.P. Again, it's going to be a little while. As for AxTxSx, I practically just started it so it's way too soon for me to throw in the towel (or cum-rag, whichever suits your taste) for this one just yet while its still in its infancy. It'd be nice to get some splits beneath its belt soon, though. That'd be cool. Again, just saying.
So, again, if you've been wanting to split with any of the projects in the list that I've provided, let's please get this ball rolling and soon. Because these projects will probably not be around by year's end.
Anyway, that's all. New releases coming soon, as usual. Stay tuned.
There's been a change of plans with that Infester "comeback" full length I've been babbling about incessantly here lately.
First and foremost, please do not worry, as there's no need to panic (for all those who actually give a shit): YES, the full length is absolutely STILL going to happen (unlike that promised and now defunct Dehydrated Tissues "GoreZilla" full length, which we won't mention ever again...); it will just happen a bit later than previously planned. Now, having said that, that doesn't necessarily mean no new Infester material will be released while we wait. I'll explain....
See, originally, the plan was to release the full album first and THEN worry about splits and that stand alone EP (notice I didn't say "EP's". I plan on releasing splits for the most part and kind of calm it down with any lone EP or demo releases). However (and without sounding way too overly technical as far as recording, mixing, mastering, and all that behind-the-scenes crap goes), I find that doing the full length first would actually push a lot of shit back and end up being a headache/pain in the ass/nutsack rash/a major clusterfuck to release it right away in the long run while holding everything else back. A split session or even the EP session would easily generally be quicker to get finished than this big beast of a album I've got planned out, which was recorded in three parts/three different sessions.
So, basically, it'd take much more time to finish the full length up than any other Infester-related release I'd be able to knock out. And, anyone who really knows me best would be the first to tell you this, I like to get shit done. Besides, who really wants to wait? I know I don't. Waiting fucking sucks, man.
So, what to do? Simple: backtrack on my original plan and, instead announcing a comeback for a project in a king-size way with a mega-ear-rape of a full length CD, start out small - in this case, a split release. More specifically, the Dubble Bobble / Infester split CDr.
So, coming down to brass tacks, I will be releasing that DB/Infester split NEXT month in March as opposed to something, like, in August or September or something way out in the future like that, which was also part of the original plan. After that's released, what's next? Perhaps the planned split with Fermentative....or even that EP....who knows? Point is, I'm getting all the "easy" stuff finished and released first, building it up to the full length. This'll definitely be a way of getting brand new Infester out much, much sooner than planned, because I'm ready, and I'm pretty sure a lot of you probably are, as well.
In the end, this will also allow me more time to play around with the 30-some-odd tracks that will make up the full album at my leisure, take a lot of the stress and pressure off of me in hurrying to get this out there, as well as to flesh out (pun unintended) and put out brand new Infester stuff, because we've already established that waiting sucks copious amounts of balls. So, see? It's a win-win, easy.
Anyways, enough rambling. I've got more new releases to announce in the next few days, as promised, that'll make up the second batch of February releases. Stay tuned! We'll see you around the interwebz....
